30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto made a dancer’s dreams become a reality during a recent night out in New York. The singer is alleged to have taken a girl from obscurity to immediate worldwide fame, picking the dancer to appear in the band's next music video.
Leto approached the female in New York nightclub ‘Pacha’, after asking to be invited into the club dancers’ private dressing room in search of a video-worthy dancer.
A source from the club discussed the evening with the New York Post: “He was there to personally cast one of the dancers in his next music video. He lined them up in the dressing room, asked them to show off a few moves, and decided on a young Russian blonde who couldn't believe her luck."
Jared Leto is no stranger to the limelight and not just limited to his musical talents either: the singer has appeared in many acting roles, performing in films such as ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Girl Interrupted’.
The band also posted an announcement on their website this week, asking fans to share their confessions for a project centred around their collaboration with Kanye West: “Tell us your secrets…For possible use in the short film for HURRICANE, we would like to invite you to make an audio recording of yourself, a confessional, about your strangest dreams, most passionate desires, elaborate fantasies, deepest secrets, frightening nightmares, or unusual perversions/fetishes”.
