Kings Of Leon Showcase New Tracks At Secret London Show - Announcement at 12.30pm

Tennessee rockers Kings Of Leon showcased material from their new album 'Come Around Sundown' last night, performing a secret gig in London entitled 'BBC Radio 1 Presents...Kings Of Leon'.
The intimate show took place at the Rivoli Ballroom in London and saw the band showcase seven tracks from the new album, including their latest hit single 'Radioactive'. If you missed the gig last night, fear not! Check back to Stereoboard at 12.30pm today for a MASSIVE Kings Of Leon announcement.
With hanging chandeliers, red lamps and flowers forming the backdrop to the show, Kings Of Leon fought a against a few technical problems during their renditions of new track 'Mary'. Acknowledging the hitch, frontman Caleb Followill said. "We are doing some songs we have never played before and we are playing some songs we haven't played in a long time, so bare with us."
The secret performance was the Kings Of Leon's first show since their new album 'Come Around Sundown' topped the UK charts on its release last week. Before kicking-off another new track, 'Pyro', Caleb went on to explain. "We just flew in yesterday so we are pretty jet lagged. The only way I know how to fight it is to get drunk."
Introducing 2008 anthem 'Sex On Fire', the frontman sent some temperatures rising by saying. “We don't get to play venues like this very often. It was freezing cold earlier but I don't know why I'm wearing a sweater now because it's hot as hell in here. Want me to take it off? You first." Needless to say the track, as well as 'Use Somebody', was accompanied by the biggest sing-a-long of the night.
Concuding the show with 'Black Thumbnail', the band departed with a short sign-off, "You guys have been wonderful, thank you for coming all this way. God bless you we are Kings Of Leon."
