British melodic death metallers The Soulless, who recently changed their name from Ignominious Incarceration, are going into the studio tomorrow, December 15th, to begin recording their new album.
The Soulless are heading into Outhouse Studios in Reading, England with producer John Mitchell (Architects, Funeral For A Friend, Enter Shikari) and will be recording until midway through January, 2011.
The as-yet untitled new album is due to be released on Earache Records in April, 2011.
The Soulless frontman Andy Wardle comments. "We are all beyond excited to start this process. The last few weeks we have been relentlessly rehearsing the tracks and are very happy with our creation. We know it is going to sound even better when finished at Outhouse.
"Everything will be heavily documented and regular video updates will be up after each stage of recording. Artwork, an official video, album title, tours and new merch are all in the works, so this is the calm before the storm..."
The Soulless recently released a brand new pre-production track to give fans a taste of what to expect from the new album. Listen to the new track, 'Earthbound', on the band's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/wearethesoulless
