Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, is a British DJ, musician and producer from Bromley, Kent. Starting his music career in 1979, as a member of The Housemartins, the band released two albums, before splitting in 1988. He went on to form Beats International, releasing two albums, before the group split in 1992, leading Cook to undertake a solo career.
He released his debut album, ‘Better Living Through Chemistry’, in 1996. This was followed by ‘You've Come a Long Way, Baby’ in 1998, which hit #1 in the UK Albums Chart and led him to win a Brit Award for Best British Dance Act. ‘Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars’ came out in 2000, followed by ‘Palookaville’ in 2004, and ‘Here Lies Love’ in 2010. Most recently, he released a single, Boom F***ing Boom in August 2017 with Beardyman.
He has headlined his own shows across the UK and is a mainstay of the festival circuit in recent years. Fatboy Slim appeared at Big Festival, Elrow Town, WE ARE FSTVL, and Glastonbury among many others.
Fatboy Slim will play a show at Lush nightclub in Portrush, Northern Ireland in December, before embarking on 'The Round Trip' UK and Ireland arena tour for early 2019. He's also set up a show in Australia for February too, along with heading to Cornwall in June for Into The Wyldes.
