American rockers My Chemical Romance have confirmed that they will be appearing on Carson Daly’s New Year’s show on NBC. The band will be appearing alongside Lil Wayne and rap newcomer Nicki Manji on the show which will air on December 31st (obviously).
Also appearing on the two hour special will be Bono and The Edge from U2, who will be discussing their work on the Broadway musical ‘Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark’. The show has been subject to much speculation after a string of actor difficulties and technical problems since it opened late last month. Speaking about the interview, Daly announced: "Sitting down and drinking champagne with Bono and The Edge is on my 'bucket list' - so getting to do that is awesome!"
‘NBC's New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly’ will be the perfect way to top off what has already been a busy year for My Chemical Romance. The New Jersey band have recently released their fourth studio album, ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’, which debuted in the top ten in both the UK and US Albums charts. The band have also recently played to a sold-out Wembley Stadium, performing as half time entertainment for the annual NFL game in London.
On the show, My Chemical Romance are expected to perform their latest single ‘SING’, which was released last month. You can view the official video for ‘SING’ below:
