Lady Gaga Announces 'Born This Way' Release Date

In a special New Year’s announcement, Lady Gaga has revealed the release date of her next studio album, ‘Born This Way’. The tabloid-friendly singer made a series of posts on Twitter this New Year’s Eve, culminating in her revealing details about her upcoming album and single.
The singer revealed that her next album, ‘Born This Way’, will be released on 23rd May next year, while a single will be made available on February 13th. The singer posted a tweet which simply declared “THE SONG 2 13 11 THE RECORD 5 23 11”, accompanied with a revealing picture which showed the singer wearing only a leather jacket, embroidered lavishly with the words ‘Born This Way’ on the back.
Gaga preceded the announcement with two poetic posts on her Twitter page (http://twitter.com/Ladygaga). She linked both statements to her album title as she said: “I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track baby, I was Born This Way”, and also: “Don't hide yourself in regret, just love yourself and you're set. I'm on the right track baby, I was Born This Way.”
Although the name of the single has not yet been revealed, fans were quick to notice that the date in February coincides with her performance at the Grammy awards. It is now believed that Gaga will be performing her new single at the prestigious ceremony in Los Angeles.
