Jools Holland Announces Two UK Castle Concerts For Summer 2011 & Tickets

Fill up your picnic basket and get ready to party with Jools Holland at one of his open-air Castle concerts this summer. The boogie-woogie piano maestro has announced two shows for July, taking place in the grounds of Ripley Castle in Harrogate and Sherborne Castle in Sherborne.

Accompanied by his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Jools Holland will lead a night of first-class entertainment and spectacular ambience amongst the picturesque castle grounds. Some special guests are set to join the former Squeeze ivory-tickler for the two shows and concert-goers are invited to bring along a picnic and chairs to enjoy the night in comfort.

Since learning to play fluently at the tender age of eight, Jools has gone on to become one of the UK's most proficient jazz and blues pianists. Having toured extensively with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, his charismatic personality, impeccably good taste and accessible music have made him one of the nations most well-respected, and well-loved, musicians.

July 2011

16th – Ripley Castle, Harrogate
23rd – Sherborne Castle, Sherborne
