Plan B Recording ‘Edgy’ Collaboration with Nicole Scherzinger

Tuesday, 18 January 2011 Written by James Conlon

English rapper, soul singer and actor Plan B has revealed that he will be collaborating with Nicole Scherzinger in the near future. The ‘Prayin’’ star has stated that he will be writing ‘edgy pop’ with the Pussycat Dolls singer for her upcoming debut solo album.

In an interview with a British newspaper, the rapper said: "We had a bowl of nuts and olives on our table when we met up so I just concentrated hard on them as she was so beautiful. I don't know what kind of direction she is going for with her new album. But anything that I do with her would be quite edgy and not straightforward pop."

Plan B (real name Ben Drew) is currently preparing his new hip-hop album, ‘The Ballad of Belmarsh’ and polishing off his directorial debut, ‘Ill Manors’. Although no previews have surfaced yet, the film is believed to be a continuation of the story formed throughout his recent hit album ‘The Defamation of Strickland Banks’. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, the rapper discussed the immense pressure of juggling so many high-profile projects: “This Strickland Banks thing has turned into an animal, it’s got a life of its own. It’s great to have those kind of headaches, but for someone who cares more for the art than the bulls**t, it’s a little bit hard for me at the moment.”
