Carl Barat Announces New Single and Rescheduled Tour Dates & Tickets

Former Libertine Carl Barat is to release a new single entitled ‘Death Fires Burn At Night’ on 4th April. The release of the single is set to coincide with his rescheduled UK tour, which was postponed last week from the original dates in February. Some additional dates have now also been added to the rescheduled tour.

‘Death Fires Burn At Night’ was included as a bonus track on some editions of his debut solo album, which was released last October. The song has since become a live favourite at Carl’s solo performances.

2010 was a very busy year for Carl, who not only released his first solo album, but also had his first book published and rejoined his former band The Libertines, alongside fellow frontman Pete Doherty, for a number of live performances and festival appearances. The April tour dates, as well as the release of ‘Death Fires Burn At Night’, will see Carl continuing with his solo work.
