Croatia’s Soundwave Festival (a.k.a. Europe’s best-kept secret) has recently extended its 2011 line-up to include British DJ Bonobo, who is set to appear with a full 9-piece band.
For years Soundwave has been a favourite for those looking to avoid the bog-pits of Glastonbury, choosing instead to spend their time on a sun-drenched Croatian beach embracing the best that dance music has to offer. The organisers boast at having a 900-year-old town as the festival's location, claiming to bring boat parties, soaring heat and the joys of the Dalmation coast all into their festival equation.
Bonobo joins an already impressive line-up for the three day festival, which will take place in Petrcane, Croatia from 22nd-24th of July. Other acts set to grace the stages include London hip-hop don Roots Manuva, Swedish electro funksters Little Dragon, Floating Points, Zero 7, Start McCallum (of The Cinematic Orchestra fame) and many more.
3 Day tickets are currently available at £89, with return flights from a number of UK destinations costing only £100. For full line-up details visit www.soundwavecroatia.com
