For the second day running Britney Spears has teased fans with a short clip from her upcoming album ‘Femme Fatale’. Today’s clip is a 23-second section of a song entitled ‘I Wanna Go’.
The snippet was uploaded by producer Dr. Luke after he posted the message "should i tease another song???” onto his Twitter page. After recieving an impressive response from Britney’s online fanbase, the producer then uploaded the clip, commenting that it was “Max Martin and Shellback produced”.
The clip features Britney belting out the chorus "I wanna go-o-o, all the way-ay-ay" preceded by big dance bass beats and whistles sounding like Peter, Bjorn and John if the band had downed a case of Red Bull.
‘Femme Fatale’ is due for release in the UK on March 28th and in the US on March 29th.
Meanwhile, Britney has been accused of plagiary with her latest single, ‘Hold It Against Me’. According to reports, the singer is about to receive a lawsuit from country rock duo David and Howard Bellamy, who believe that her song is too similar to their 1979 release, 'If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me?'
In an interview with a British Newspaper, David Bellamy said: "Howard and I have no personal beef with Britney. She’s a talented gal. But professionally we feel completely ripped off. We will without doubt take the appropriate legal action if our attorneys agree we’ve been ripped off."
A spokesperson for Spears replied: "If this is now a legal matter then I am afraid we would have nothing to say until our lawyers have been alerted."
