Patrick Wolf Announces ‘Lupercalia’ Album Details

London-based songwriter Patrick Wolf has announced the tracklisting for the much-anticipated follow-up to his 2009 release ‘The Bachelor’. The singer has confirmed that the album will be released in the UK on May 31st, with the first single from the record, ‘The City’ released on March 14th.
The album will be Wolf’s seventh studio release, and has been a case of evolution in practise as Wolf confirmed last year that the LP’s themes had changed during the course of recording both musically and lyrically. Initially conceived as ‘The Conqueror’, the album was planned as the organic twin to 2009’s ‘The Batchelor’. However, Wolf revealed on Twitter late last year that ‘Lupercalia’ is concerned far more with optimistic and positive ideas than he had originally intended.

'Bermondsey Street'
'The Future'
'Armistice'
'William'
'Time Of My Life'
'The Days'
'Slow Motion'
'Together'
'The Falcons'
The singer is also set to embark on a seven-date UK and Irish tour this March, beginning in Dublin’s Sugar Club on March 21st. Patrick Wolf will play the following tour dates:

25-Mar - Birmingham Academy
