Sugarcult to Return to the UK for Live Dates in April & Tickets

Californian alt-rockers Sugarcult are to return to the UK in April for two live dates before heading over to Belgium for Groezrock Festival. The new shows in London and Birmingham will be the band’s first UK dates since before they went on hiatus in 2009, the same year as the 10th anniversary of Sugarcult. The group are probably known best for their third album, 2001’s ‘Start Static’, which included the singles ‘Bouncing Off the Walls’ and ‘Stuck in America’, both of which experienced some chart success in this country.

Sugarcult have sold over a million records worldwide and have previously supported both Green Day and Blink 182 on their arena tours. The group’s lead vocalist Tim Pagnotta recently produced ‘Habits’, the debut album of hotly-tipped US rockers Neon Trees.

Speaking about the forthcoming UK dates, Sugarcult guitarist Marko DeSantis said: “We are so excited to return and reconnect after so many years. It’s so powerful to share this musical communion with each other and our fans. Thank you to our loyal fans for being so patient and always leaving a light on for us.”
