Friday, 25 February 2011 Written by James Conlon

Jessie J has today confessed that she was unaware her album had been released in a number of European countries. Fans had been quick to complain that a version of the album had leaked online, which led the singer to discover herself that ‘Who You Are’ had been intentionally released early throughout most of Europe.

The BBC Sound of 2011 winner recently brought the official UK release date for ‘Who You Are; forward to February 28th, but she admitted on Twitter that she was unaware it had been released in other countries this morning.

In a series of tweets, the singer said: "My album has NOT been leaked. Its been released In Ireland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria, Poland and India.”

"I wasn't told so I was as surprised as you, but this is a standard industry thing. I want to apologise to ALL my #heartbeats from the UK who didn't know. I will be buying my album #whoyouare in the UK on Monday (sic)."

The ‘Do It Like A Dude’ singer continued: "I'm jealous of all the people getting my album today!! Lol. If it makes anyone feel better I haven't even seen my album yet. And I'm the artist. #whoyouare we are all waiting lol."

Meanwhile, Jessie J has spoken recently about her current lifestyle, confirming tabloid speculation about her bisexuality. The singer told In Demand: "I've never denied it. Whoopie doo guys, yes, I've dated girls and I've dated boys - get over it. It's not a secret, but it's the only thing they can grab onto - they're like, 'She never drinks and she comes out of the party looking like she did when she went in, damn her!'"

The singer continued to discuss the desperate lengths that the press have gone to in order to find out information about her past. She said: "The amount of people that have contacted my old schoolmates about it...Facebook is a lethal place.”
