Van Morrison Joins Bob Dylan As Headliner For London Feis 2011 & Tickets

Bob Dylan and Van Morrison have been confirmed as headliners for London Feis 2011 at Finsbury Park, London, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June.
A legend in his lifetime and the poet laureate for a generation. From his early days as a protesting folk troubadour Dylan has consistently reinvented himself through rock poet, country music crooner, star-crossed lover and Old Testament prophet of doom.
Always either one step ahead of the game, or ignoring the game altogether, Dylan continues to live up to the expectations of fans and critics alike by producing material that has the full history of American song writing flowing through it. No matter what guise he's wearing, the music always remains true to Dylan's trademark lyrical cutting edge that has been so often imitated, and so rarely surpassed.
Joining Dylan wiill be Northern Ireland's very own prodigal son Van Morrison. With a unique combination of compositional ability and raw vocal talents, the blue-eyed soul shouter and wild-eyed poet-sorcerer has steadily enchanted more and more fans throughout his prolific career.
Other acts confirmed for the London Feis weekend bash include Christy Moore, The Waterboys, The Saw Doctors, Nanci Griffith, The Fureys and The Undertones. More acts are to be announced shortly.
