Boyzone Announce Lytham Proms Festival Weekend Concert & Tickets

Organisers of the Lytham Proms Festival Weekend 2011 have today announced a third night of the popular music weekend as a grand finale to the already secured Status Quo and Katherine Jenkins. Irish band Boyzone will stage a spectacular concert against the backdrop of the Ribble Estuary.

The finale concert to be held on Sunday 7th August will see the weekend increased from 1 night to 3 nights in response to demand for tickets. The first two nights are said to be already close to selling out, with the Boyzone concert set to go on sale on Friday 25th March at 9am. Click Here to Compare & Buy Boyzone Tickets

Multi-platinum Brit award winners Boyzone are set to bring Lytham Green to life with their concert entitled ‘Brother’. The concert pays tribute to band member Stephen Gatley who died aged 33 in October 2009. The concert is also a celebration of Stephens and Boyzone’s lives and is set to get the crowd on their feet when it visits in August. Part of only a handful of outdoor concerts in 2011, Lytham St Annes is the only north-west date in the bands calendar.

A spokesman for the concert organisers, Cuffe & Taylor Event Management said: “The response to Lytham Proms 2011 has been phenomenal. Ticket sales for both Status Quo and Katherine Jenkins have been particularly strong. Adding an extra night is down to the demand from the public. We wanted to ensure that the event has something for everyone, and feel that Boyzone fill that gap between Rock and Classical.”

“To think that Boyzone will come to Lytham St Annes is amazing, and we are thrilled that they chose to play our event over some of the larger more established ones. This is really going to put Lytham St Annes on the map.”

Boyzone Tickets go on sale on Friday 25th March at 9am priced from £37.50. Click Here to Compare & Buy Boyzone Tickets
