Death Cab for Cutie have confirmed that they will be releasing a live DVD to accompany the release of their upcoming album ‘Codes and Keys’. The ‘Live at the Mt. Baker Theatre’ release will feature material from a two-night stint the group performed in Bellingham, Washington while touring the US in April 2009.
The DVD is set for release on May 31st, the same day as their upcoming seventh studio album. The band recently unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for the release, which will be the follow-up to their hugely successful 2008 album ‘Narrow Stairs’.
Meanwhile, Ben Gibbard recently previewed the title track from the album during a recent solo show in San Francisco. The track is a restrained, piano-led number, and you can listen to it here:

Rock City, Nottingham – 5th July
O2 Academy Brixton, London – 7th July
