Jay-Z and Kanye West's joint album 'Watch The Throne' is drawing to the final stages of its completion, if the comments of one of the album’s producers are to be believed.
Speaking on the progress of the LP, which the pair have been working on since the completion of West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, producer Young Guru told Vibe.com: "Right now, I’m really trying to get Jay and Kanye to hurry up and finish this 'Watch The Throne' album because the world needs to hear it. It just needs little tweaks and things like that. But the core of the album is finished."
Young Guru went on to explain that the beats for the album had been created by producers No I.D., Q-Tip and Pete Rock, but were modified by Kanye West later in the studio. He said: “Kanye takes what they do and adds on to it and I think that’s his genius. I say this all the time; Kanye records are never the same twice, while he's making them because they always grow."
No release date has been confirmed for the album yet. The pair were said to have taken up a whole floor of a New York hotel in February to work on the LP. So far, the only substance to have surfaced is the track ‘H.A.M.’, which received mixed reviews when launched online in early January.
