JLS have confirmed the title and release date of their upcoming movie. The band have revealed that they will be showing ‘Eyes Wide Open’ for just one day in cinemas across the UK.
The 3D concert film will be screened on June 3rd at selecred Empire, Cineworld, Showcase and Vue cinemas across the country. A number of independent cinemas will also be screening the film.
Speaking about the project, singer JB said: "How often does a boyband get to make a movie based around their tour for national cinema release? Words can't really describe it. The whole process was illuminating, exhilarating, exhausting and exciting.”
He went on to make the bold claim: “It won't be the only movie we ever make."
Marvin Humes added: "Making a movie has always been on our wish list. We can't wait for everyone to see it."
The band offered a statement about the project on their official website, which said: “[The film] was filmed during their recent sold-out show at the O2 Arena and features the lads singing all of your favourites including ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, ‘The Club Is Alive’, ‘Love You More’ and ‘Everybody In Love’”.
JLS also revealed that the film will feature a number of exclusive interviews and backstage footage. Tickets for screenings of ‘Eyes Wide Open’ will be available on Friday April 1st ay 10am.
