Following news of their addition to this year’s Download Festival line-up, US hardcore punkers Trash Talk have announced some additional live dates in June. The band will also be releasing a split 7” with fellow Californians Wavves tomorrow (16th April) in support of Record Store Day. The record will include new track ‘Thorns’.
The new dates will mark a return to the UK for Trash Talk, who were last over here in 2010 for a number of festival appearances, including Reading and Leeds, as well as a series of their own headlining shows. The band have become known for their chaotic live performances, like the one at last year’s Reading Festival where they instigated a mass stage invasion during their set.
Trash Talk are expected to release a new album later this year, which will follow 2010’s ‘Eyes & Nines’. Previously, they released a single entitled ‘East of Eden’, which featured a vocal contribution from former Black Flag frontman Keith Morris.
