Elton John Set For Three-Year Las Vegas Residency

Elton John is set to return to Las Vegas for a three-year residency in the famous Caesar’s Palace. It has been announced that the ‘Rocket Man’ star will return to America's playground once again in September for a three-year contract to perform his new ‘Million Dollar Piano’ show.

The singer ended a stint at Las Vegas’ Colosseum venue in April 2009, where he had performed his ‘Red Piano Show’ over the course of a five-year contract.

Tickets for the show, which Elton John has described as a "gargantuan feast of music", will be available from April 25th.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that Elton John has collaborated with Glee’s Matthew Morrison for the TV star’s debut solo album. The pair are said to have performed a mash-up of Elton John’s 'Rocket Man' and 'Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters'.

The duo recorded the track in January, but Morrison is said to have been more than reluctant about asking the British icon to lend his vocal talents to the track. Speaking to ET Canada, Morrison said: "I was kind of stammering and stuttering... I was like, 'I'm doing this album and I would really love you to be a part of it. And he was like, 'Yeah, sure.' I was like, 'That's it?'"

He continued: "Then, you know, it happened and it was awesome. It was such a learning experience being in the studio with him. It's a beautifully epic seven-minute song, and it's my favorite song on the album."
