Social Distortion Unveil New Short Film For 'Machine Gun Blues'

Social Distortion have premiered a breathtaking new short film, an extended music video for the track 'Machine Gun Blues' with a red carpet premiere event & live set in Hollywood last week. The band are currently preparing for a full European tour this summer, which stops in London for a performance at the Shepherds Bush Empire on July 7th.

The short film for 'Machine Gun Blues' starts in 1934 Los Angeles as Mike Ness and his 'Blood and Sorrow' crew of gangsters knock off a bank, only to realize the feds are hot on their trail. Shot at the famous Union Station in downtown LA and surrounding areas, the gang is chased through rolling, dusty roads to their hideout for an explosive showdown. Watch the video below.

Following the release of the band’s critically acclaimed seventh album, ‘Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes’, Social Distortion are ready for a busy summer schedule of festivals and European shows. Be sure to catch the band in London this July for what is to be a specil one-off UK headline show.
