The Felice Brothers, unschooled illegal street/subway musicians from the start, have announced four UK shows for December.
The Felice Brothers' distinct brand of songwriting and the lawless sound they've forged has earned them comparisons to Woodie Guthrie, Neil Young, Walt Whitman, Bob Dylan and James Brown, and for some ungodly reason they now find their homemade recordings played on a growing list of FM radio dials across the USA.
The Felice Brothers released their single 'Ponzi' on March 29th, the first single taken from their new album 'Celebration, Florida' which was released yesterday, 10th May. The new album shows a departure from the group's past roots-rock albums with a new electro, dancehall sound.
The Felice Brothers have announced the following UK shows:
Tue 6th December 2011 - KOKO, London (£15.00)
Wed 7th December 2011 - Academy 2, Manchester (£14.50)
Fri 9th December 2011 - O2 ABC Glasgow, Glasgow (£14.50)
Mon 12th December 2011 - The Library at HMV Institute, Birmingham (£14.50)
