Swedish House Mafia Announced As Tomorrowland's Friday Headliners

Let’s be honest, this really is the moment that we have all been waiting for. As we edge ever closer to this year’s monumental Tomorrowland festival, today marks the moment that ID&T announce their all-important, eagerly awaited, Friday headline act.

And what an incredible treat we have in store...after ceaseless speculation and frantic online hearsay, the rumors can be finally put to bed. The excitement boils down to three little words that need no introduction:

Swedish. House. Mafia.

After the Scandinavian superstars put on what can only be described as a truly unforgettable show on the main stage at last year’s event, a return to Tomorrowland was an absolute must! With more than 1 million Facebook fans, and over 55 million YouTube video hits there is no doubt that the untouchable trio are dance music gods - nothing less.

But we can hardly be surprised at this stellar news. If we take a glimpse at the unbelievable DJ talent that ID&T have been drip-feeding us since 1st January, who else could it have been? This is what Tomorrowland does better than anyone. Honoring festival-goers with the crème-de-la-crème of electronic acts year after year, they never ever disappoint. You could buy your ticket before any acts are announced and you would still be safe in the knowledge that it was money well spent.

To wet your appetite for the big day, this week the Swedes launch their colossal new single 'Save the World Tonight', available on iTunes from 16th May. And if chart-topping hits 'One' (2010) and 'Leave the World Behind' (2009) are anything to go, it’s certain be the soundtrack to Summer 2011.

In anticipation of this announcement, ID&T have released a FINAL number of day tickets for Friday, and are available now! You can be sure of one thing – said tickets will be SOLD OUT within hours.

All other tickets have sold out.
