New Paramore Track To Appear On 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' Soundtrack

Paramore have announced that they will be contributing a song to the soundtrack for the forthcoming film ‘Transformers: Dark Of The Moon’. The pop-punk band revealed on Paramore.net last night (May 23rd) that a new track entitled ‘Monster’ will be appearing as part of the film.

Hayley Williams and the band are set to join the likes of My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls, Taking Back Sunday and Linkin Park, all of whom will appear on the film’s soundtrack.

Speaking on their site, the band confirmed the news by saying: “By now everyone knows that Paramore has been hard at work in the studio over the past few months, working on new material. We are very excited to announce that Paramore will have a new song on the soundtrack for 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon'. Stay tuned to paramore.net for more details!”

Paramore have had a lot of success previously with soundtracks: the band widened their teen fanbase dramatically by contributing ‘Decode’ to the soundtrack for the first in the Twilight film series. You can listen to ‘Decode’ below:
