Paramore's Hayley Williams has shared a video for her solo track Glum.
Exploring themes of loneliness and isolation through emotionally-charged lyricism and '90s acoustic rock instrumentation, the track is one of 17 new songs the vocalist self-released last month via her website for a limited time before dropping them onto digital streaming platforms.
The accompanying clip, meanwhile, was co-directed by Paramore drummer Zac Farro with AJ Gibboney, and shot on 35mm Kodak film.
Earlier this month, Williams unveiled a video for Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, another song from the surprise batch of singles, her first new music since becoming an independent artist after her contract with Warner/Atlantic was fulfilled. She released her most recent solo LP, 'FLOWERS for VASES / descansos', in 2021.
In May, Williams teamed up with Blood Orange's Devonté Hynes on Turnstile's 'Never Enough' track Seein' Stars, and collaborated with Moses Sumney on the single I Like It I Like It. She's also set to appear on David Byrne's upcoming solo album, 'Who Is The Sky?', due out on September 5 via Matador Records.
Paramore, meanwhile, released their latest album, 'This Is Why', in 2023.
