Paramore's Hayley Williams has quietly dropped 17 songs onto her official website.
Bypassing conventional rollouts, the vocalist has uploaded the tracks to a password-protected page, accessible only by entering a 16-digit code received after purchasing an item from her hair dye company, Good Dye Young.
Songs leaked include Kill Me, Negative Self Talk, True Believer, and Discovery Channel, with the latter featuring an interpolation of Bloodhound Gang's 1999 hit The Bad Touch. Another song, Mirtzapine, recently debuted on Nashville public radio station WNXP.
In addition to the tracks, the website features a folder titled "Misc", plus a photo of a t-shirt that reads, "Hayley Williams Is My Favorite Band", and a handwritten lyric sheet styled like a notebook. There's also a short video capturing a Phoenix concert, and an audio clip of a child saying, "I'm sorry that you’re going through something hard!".
Beck in May, Williams appeared alongside Blood Orange's Devonté Hynes on Turnstile's 'Never Enough' track Seein' Stars, and teamed up with Moses Sumney for the single I Like It I Like It. She will also feature on David Byrne's upcoming solo album, 'Who Is The Sky?', due out through Matador Records on September 5.
She released her most recent solo album, 'FLOWERS for VASES / descansos', in 2021. Paramore, meanwhile, put out their latest album, 'This Is Why', in 2023.
UPDATE August 1: Williams' website is no longer hosting the tracks. All 17 are now available to stream as singles on services such as Spotify, Apple Music etc, and the lyrics can be found on the Paramore singer's Substack.
