Creamfields Announces Further Acts And Arenas

Creamfields have announced that they have added more acts and arenas to their 2011 line-up. The festival, which is fast being recognised as dance music’s answer to Glastonbury, features The Chemical Brothers, Tiёsto, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Magnetic Man and many others in their impressive line-up for this summer.

Taking place from Friday 26th – Sunday 28th August in Daresbury, Chesire, the festival announced a list of recent additions to the bill including Jaguar Skills, Brodinski, Kissy Sell Out, Zinc, Goldierocks, Louis La Roche, Maxxi Soundsystem, Marc Roberts, Rory Phillips, StopMakingMe, General Jimmy and Mr Paul.

Creamfields have also confirmed that the 2011 festival will feature live performances from disco-house legends Retro/Grade, Balearic don Chad Valley, pioneering beatsmith Star Slinger and live dub-step from Dansette Junior.

Other acts just announced include DJ/ Producer and Tiёsto collaborator Hardwell, Dutch DJ/Producer du jour Oliver Twizt who joins Laidback Luke in his Super You&Me Arena and Italo/disco kings Serge Santiago and Tom Neville aka Retro/Grade, who return on Sunday for a DJ set joining David Guetta and Afrojack on the Main Stage.

As well as a host of top electro artists, the festival also announced that the Mixmag Future Heroes Arena will be returning in an all new “igloo” structure. They will also be adding the “IglooVision Arena”, panoramic graphic environment (complete with 360 degree video wall) which will be specially adapted in real time to suit the mood and music of the performance.
