The Kills - Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart - have today confirmed they will headline the second stage at Hard Rock Calling 2011. The show comes just days before the release of their new single, ‘Future Starts Slow’, on June 27th.
In addition to the Roundhouse show, the band embark on a nationwide UK tour from today, June 27th. A number of festival dates have also been confirmed including, Glastonbury (The Other Stage) and Reading & Leeds. The Full list of dates is below.
With four studio albums under their belt, including their latest release ‘Blood Pressures’, The Kills have gained critical acclaim and a cult following on both sides of the Atlantic.
The band’s new single ‘Future Starts Slow’, released through Domino Records, is a burst of fresh energy from the band, mixing unrelenting drums, Jamie Hince’s trade mark searing guitar sound and Alison Mosshart’s vocals. The track will be released as as a 7” / Digital Download and backed with a new track to be confirmed.
