Hard Rock Calling is a rock-oriented music festival originally held in Hyde Park every year. Now moved to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, the three-day festival is organised by the Hard Rock Cafe and Live Nation.
Featuring the best names in rock, this festival has seen headliners like Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, The Police, and countless more tear up the mainstage in years gone by. Their latest event in 2013 became the first at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and saw Bruce Springsteen and Kasabian as headliners. Since that massive party, Hard Rock Cafe and Live Nation have decided to sever their ties and scrap their HRC for 2014, but you headbangers need fear not. Live Nation - who are looking for a new sponsor - have promised to continue the festival well into the future. As they stated, Hard Rock Calling has now become ‘Calling Festival’, and now takes place in London’s Clapham Common.
