Pulp Make Impressive Live Comeback At Primevera Sound Festival

British rock legends Pulp have made their live comeback last Saturday (28th), playing a crowd-pleasing set at the Spanish Primavera Sound Festival that will set any of their doubters back in their place.

Bursting into their headline slot with ‘Do You Remember the First Time’, the band were on fire throughout their set and frontman Jarvis Cocker, according to Spinner.com’s Farah Ishaq, played a “a note-perfect performance, teasing the eager crowd throughout”.

Following an almost ten-year break, fans of Pulp will be delighted to know their favourites are back to their best. And Jarvis thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing out to a massive crowd once again, shouting to the crowd: “This evening is not about ancient history, we are going to make history!”

Pulp didn’t hold back for this performance, playing a tracklist full of their greatest hits and fan favourites. You can see the setlist below.

In two heart-warming acts of crowd interaction, Cocker braved the crowd and entered the masses as a man in the front row proposed to his girlfriend in-between songs ‘I Spy’ and ‘Underwear’. The iconic guitarist and vocalist then went on to dedicate their 1995 hit ‘Common People’ to the Spanish protesters who were fighting against Government cuts – something we here can relate to.

Pulp are playing a host of festivals this summer – check below for the dates and ticket prices.
