Nicki Minaj Looking To Put “More Theatre” Into Her Britney Spears Tour Shows

Nicki Minaj has claimed that she is looking to incorporate "more theatre" into her live shows during the upcoming tour she is set to embark on with Britney Spears. The ‘Moment 4 Life’ rapper will embark on a 26-date arena tour with Spears later this month, and expressed her excitement about the jaunt in a recent interview with MTV.
Speaking to the music channel, she said: "I'm just trying to put more theatre on that stage. So much to me is music, but it's also about putting on a show, so that's my goal: to truly put on a show and incorporate theater and dance."
Minaj continued: "I think it's pretty easy to take it to the next level... I think I'm nowhere close to where I could be as far as my shows have been. So I think it's going to be pretty easy, actually.“
The pair will start their North American tour on June 16th in Sacremento, Spears will also be coming the UK and Ireland in October, starting on the 24th in Dublin’s O2 Arena.
However (despite her aspirations), it would appear that not everyone is a fan of Nicki Minaj. UK rapper Example recently spoke about the US star, claiming that Minaj “obviously blagged” her current success.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz, Example said: "I really don't like her and I'm not a fan of her album. I don't like these people who are hyped up and then their stuff is fucking gash.”
He continued: “The only respect I have for her is that she's a woman who's done well for herself in the rap industry, so fair play to her for that - Even though she obviously blagged it."
