Incarcerated Murderer Claims Jimmy Henchman Paid Him to Shoot and Rob Tupac Shakur

A convicted New York hitman has claimed that he once shot and robbed the legendary Tupac Shakur in a 1994 attack which almost killed the rapper, after being paid by hip-hop bigwig James Rosemond.

Murderer Dexter Isaac, currently serving a life sentence in New York, says that Rosemond, also known in the hip-hop scene as ‘Jimmy Henchman’, paid him $2500 as well as giving him expensive jewellery to carry out the attack on Shakur.

Rosemond has been accused many times as being the organiser of the killings of both Biggie Smalls in 1997 and Tupac, who was fatally shot in Nevada two years after Isaac’s confessed shooting. But the mogul’s lawyer Jeffry Lichtman has dismissed Isaac’s claims and described them as a ‘flat out lie’.

“Dexter Isaac is not claiming this 17 years later to clear his conscience. He's doing it because he's told anybody who will listen he doesn't want to die in prison.

“He has kids and wants to work off his sentence. He can't be trusted.”

Isaac’s confession, which was posted on popular hip-hip website AllHipHop.com, is an apology to both Shakur’s and Biggie Small’s families as well as a dig at Rosemond who had apparently accused Isaac of being a snitch. It has since been taken down.

“I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did. I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie Small's] mothers some closure.”

“Jimmy, I say to you: I have kept your secrets for years, you have never been arrested because of me or any of our friends because of me.

“How dare you call me an informant. I have stayed silent in prison for the past 13 years doing a life sentence like a real soldier should.”

Rosemond is currently on the run from the law after ditching police following a drug trafficking trial, but Lichtman continued to defend the in-trouble celeb.

“I don’t know where he [Rosemond] is, but you can understand why he feels he can’t get a fair trial when convicted killers like Dexter Isaac are saying this kind of crap.”

NYPD officials say that the police will be talking to Isaac from his cell in New York.
