Example And Alexandra Burke Engage In Twitter Argument

Example and ‘X Factor’ winner Alexandra Burke have been engaged in a war of words over Twitter after the British rapper joked about Burke’s age, claiming that she was ‘actually 41’.

Burke did not respond well to Example’s jest, replying on the social networking site: "If you want my # I will gladly give it 2 u so we can have this out. Tired of ur constant bitching! You don't even know me. Don't bitch about me -BITCH2ME!! No need for the rudeness. U won't go far in life if u carry on (sic)."

Burke continued: "I have no time for people like you. Grow up and grow some damn balls & say what U need to say to me ! &DONE!!! I will pray4 u mate. Take a look in the mirror and look at yourself real GOOD! Stop hating on other artist. Learn to support people - KMFT!"

The ‘Hallelujah’ singer then received support from The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman, who said: "Here here!!!!!!!! Hopefully our paths will all cross together...6 V 1, silly silly boy! Grow a pair!!"

Example then replied to both Wiseman and Burke, offering to write material for the ladies. He went on to say: "My arena tour is next April, I need some miming dancers, you free?"

However, keen not to appear too rude, Example added: "This beef between me Alexandra Burke and The Saturdays is really kicking off. Don't they realise when boys are mean it means you fancy them."

Speaking about the exchange to The Metro, Example said: “I just put something out saying it was my birthday, I’ll be 29, that’s actually my real age, a lot of people think the music industry have PR ages. Obviously everybody knows that Alexandra Burke is not 41. I know that she is not 41. To be honest so do most people. She seems to have taken it all to heart and got really, really upset.”
