Young the Giant Share New 'Cough Syrup' Video

Californian quintet Young the Giant this afternoon confirmed details of their new single/video 'Cough Syrup', which will be released on the 22nd August via Roadrunnner Records.
‘Cough Syrup’ aired exclusively on MTV in the US, but is now available to stream and watch on the band’s YouTube channel – the video is also embedded below. The band will be performing the new single and more tracks from their debut album at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals.
'Cough Syrup' follows on from the recently released 'My Body' which was a huge radio hit in the US and topped the Hype Machine chart on multiple occasions. In the UK, the band have picked up early radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Fearne Cotton and Dermot O’Leary amongst others which has garnered a lot of support for the newcomers in the UK.
The band also appeared on Jools Holland in what was their UK TV debut, and had a good reception. Young the Giant consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar/vocals), Payam Doostzadeh (bass) and Francois Comtois (drums/vocals).
