Young The Giant are an American alt-rock and indie outfit hailing from Irvine, California. Formed in 2004 under the name The Jakes, the band changed their name to Young The Giant in 2009 and currently consists of frontman Sameer Gadhia, guitarists Jacob Tilley and Eric Cannata, bassist Payam Doostzadeh, and drummer Francois Comtois.
Young The Giant hit the spotlight with their 2010 self-titled debut album, and have continued to perform across the world ever since. In 2014, they put out their sophomore effort, Mind Over Matter, which was followed by 2016's 'Home Of The Strange', 2018's 'Mirror Master', and 2022's 'American Bollywood'. Young The Giant have announced a North American tour for 2023, which will see them on the road from late May through to the end of August with special guests Milky Chance.
