Art-pop four-piece The Dykeenies have announced a run of October live shows.
Hailing from Cumbernauld, Glasgow, you might be interested to know that The Dykeenies took their name from the race of creatures from the movie 'Willow'! Comprising of brothers Brian (vocals/synths) and Andrew Henderson (bass), the line-up is completed with two childhood friends, Steven Ramsay (guitar) and John Kerr (drums).
Citing the likes of The Cribs, Bloc Party and The Futureheads as their main influences, The Dykeenies have released one studio album to date. Spawning three single, the album, titled 'Nothing Means Everything', is to be followed by a second album which is currently being put together in the studio. Stay tuned!
