Guitar-ing duo Big Deal have announced an August/September headline tour, which includes three dates with support from Grouplove, Dog Is Dead and Weird Dreams.
With a London show scheduled for as early as this Wednesday, Big Deal have somewhat scattered their tour dates for the upcoming summer and autumn months, loosely based on the release of their debut album. Throughout August, the singers will appear at Edge festival, Reading and Leeds while also performing at the more intimate Tamesis Dock. Then, after a week or so break, the duo return to a more consistent run of dates – including shows at Manchester’s Deaf Institute and Bristol’s Thekla. See below for tour dates.
Consisting of Alice Costelloe and Kacey Underwood, Big Deal are a London based pair of musicians who don’t take themselves too seriously – they used to work under the name ‘Hard Cheese’. But now, as they literally become a bigger deal, the two will be setting off on tour to coincide with their debut album release ‘Lights Out’, which hits record shops the 29th of August. It caps off a brilliant year for Big Deal, following their part in NME’s Radar tour earlier this year where they really showed audiences what they were capable of. Don’t miss Big Deal’s biggest tour to date – tickets/dates below.
