Thomas Dolby Schedules UK Tour & Ticket Details

Following our reports of his return, Stereoboard can reveal that electronic legend Thomas Dolby will be embarking on a UK tour this November.
Dolby’s new album ‘A Map of a Floating City’ comes out this October, marking over twenty years since his previous full release, and the ‘Hyperactive’ singer will tour the LP around the country in his first full-scale tour for a number of years.
The singer-songwriter played a small number of shows earlier in the summer and it has now become apparent that these shows were a warm-up of sorts for his now-scheduled tour. And he won’t be stopping in just the UK, as tours look likely for Europe, Japan, and Australia as well as the US. Dolby spoke about the ‘warm-up’ gigs earlier in July.
“Feels like it’s time to warm up my gig chops and start thinking about a full scale tour! I expect to be doing around 20 shows in the US and a half dozen in the UK before the end of the year. I’d love to also visit Australia, Japan and Europe, but this depends on a number of factors.”
