Guillemots Announce Autumn UK Tour & Tickets

Experimental indie four-piece Guillemots have returned following a three-year break after the release of their second album ‘Red’. The band, who released their third album 'Walk The River' earlier this year, have announced a UK tour for October and November.

Following the 2008 release of ‘Red’ and its subsequent tour, Guillemots’ frontman Fyfe Dangerfield spent some time away from the band whilst working on and releasing his own solo album ‘Fly Yellow Moon’. The album came out in January last year and Dangerfield spent much of the year touring it. The news of these new Guillemots shows will come as great news to fans.

Guillemots were formed in 2004 and released their debut ‘Through the Windowpane’ two years later. The album was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Music Prize.

Guillemots UK Tour Dates are as follows:

October 2011

Oct 30th – Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
Oct 31st – The Old Market, Brighton

November 2011

Nov 5th – Stanley Theatre, Liverpool
Nov 9th – The Library at The HMV Institute, Birmingham
Nov 13th – The Cockpit, Leeds
Nov 14th – O2 Academy, Oxford
Nov 15th – Waterfront, Norwich
