Dappy Unveils Video For ‘No Regrets’ – Watch Now

Friday, 05 August 2011 Written by James Conlon

N-Dubz singer and hat trendsetter extraordinaire Dappy has unveiled the video for his debut solo single ‘No Regrets’. The track, which is believed to be the first from an upcoming solo LP, features Dappy singing on a rooftop accompanied by a full gospel choir.

The song, which was recorded in part on the reality TV show ‘Being N-Dubz’, name checks a number of celebrities and famous faces including Chris Brown, Michal Caine, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Kurt Cobain and Liam Gallagher. The video for ‘No Regrets’ was filmed in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Speaking to The Sun about his solo aspirations, Dappy was far from lacking confidence. He said: "I really want to earn the respect of an older audience. I don't think there's any shame in trying to write music that will be recognised by people I admire, like Adele. Even Bono. I have big goals. I want to have two No1 singles back-to-back as a solo artist."

However, Dappy isn’t the only member of N-Dubz with big solo aspirations. Bandmate Tulisa has recently been filming the first series of the ‘X Factor’ in her controversial role as judge.

‘No Regrets’ is scheduled for release on September 18th with an album expected in late autumn. You can view the video below:
