Finalist Bands Named For Red Bull Bedroom Jam

Following performances from the shortlisted eight Red Bull Bedroom Jam Bands at Hevy and Underage festivals this weekend, the judges: Andy Copping, Vice President of Live Nation, Darren Taylor former Editor of Rocksound, Beckie Sugden of The Agency Group, and Aled Phillips of Kids In Glass Houses, have now made their decisions The final three who will go head-to-head in the live final on Monday 26th August at 5pm.

Acoda, Page 44 and Hill Valley High will be heading to Red Bull Studios London to battle it out in the live online final, streamed at www.redbullbedroomjam.com. Joined by The Blackout who will be headlining the show, each band will take it in turn to play their choice track to try to impress the public and gain their vote.

Chosen by the judges for their combination of brutally powerful vocals, heavy riffs, tight performances and crowd-pulling shows, Corby-based metal act, Acoda have shown throughout the Red Bull Bedroom Jam summer tour that they're a must see at each festival.

Page 44 made a lasting impression on the crowds at each of the six gigs on the tour. Their emotional vocal harmonies over euphoric rock and roll sounds were popular with the judges, meaning that the Pop-Rock four-piece from Birmingham have made it through to the final.

Rocking hard at every festival, Hill Valley High's cheeky, energetic and crowd-raising performances throughout the Red Bull Bedroom Jam 2011 season and top song writing talent gained them popularity both amongst the crowd and judges.

Head to www.redbullbedroomjam.com on Monday 26th August to see the bands play live head-to-head and make your choice on who should be crowned the champion of Red Bull Bedroom Jam 2011 and walk away with a two week recording session in the Red Bull Studios London and a supporting slot on The Blackout's UK tour.
