Maximo Park Announce One-Off Headline Show In Edinburgh & Tickets

Newcastle-based post-punkers Maximo Park have announced a one-off headline show at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms on Friday 2nd September.
Maximo Park are expected to release the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Quicken the Heart’ sometime next year in the meantime however the band played a special charity show in Newcastle last month and also performed at the Y-Not Festival in the Peak District last weekend. They play Bingley Music Live in September.
In 2005, Maximo Park released their debut album ‘A Certain Trigger’, which entered the UK Albums Chart at Number 15. Its successor, 2007’s ‘Our Earthly Pleasures’, was even more successful, reaching Number Two and including the Top 10 single ‘Our Velocity’. Last year, lead vocalist Paul Smith took some time out from the band to release his debut solo album ‘Margins’.
