Chiodos Drop Out of Madina Lake UK Tour

Hardcore rockers Chiodos have pulled out of Madina Lake’s November UK tour for undisclosed reasons.

The Michigan based six-piece were due to join alternative rock band Madina Lake and Super Happy Fun Club for a ten date trip around the country, but for currently unknown reasons they have dropped out. English dance punk outfit My Passion have been drafted into replace them.

Having already performed as part of the bill for Download festival earlier this year, the band are also working on their third studio album which will be titled ‘World War 3’ and bassist Matthew Leone spoke about the new LP to Rocksound magazine:

“Aspirations for the record are pretty humble. We feel like we’ve established ourselves and most bands don’t get to third records so we feel lucky. We are not dying to be huge and blow up we just want to carry on.”

‘World War 3’ will be the bands third album and will mean the boys have a whole new album’s worth of songs to use as ammunition on their up and coming tour. If you want to catch Madina Lake alongside My Passion and the Super Happy Fun Club, check below for dates and tickets.
