Bon Iver And James Blake Set To Release Collaboration?

Bon Iver and James Blake could be set to release a collaborative project next week, if early whispers are to be believed. The two took 2011 by storm in entirely different ways, releasing two dramatically different self-titled albums which were both received with commercial and critical acclaim.
However, if a message on James Blake’s Twitter account is to be trusted, a collaborative project entitled ‘Fall Creek Boys Choir’ will emerge from the two songwriters next week. Writing on the social networking site, Blake said abruptly: “24th August 2011 – James Blake & Bon Iver 'Fall Creek Boys Choir’”. It is unknown at present if the project will be a single, EP or none of the above.
Both individuals have been consistently quiet about the project, so very few details are known at present. However, Fall Creek is known to be the name of the town where Bon Iver (a.k.a songwriter Justin Vernon) owns his personal studio.
Meanwhile, Bon Iver unveiled the video to the upcoming single ‘Holocene’ yesterday. Directed by Nabil Elderkin (of Kanye West’s ‘Coldest Winter’ and Bruno Mars’ ‘Grenade’ fame), the video was shot entirely in Iceland earlier this year.
