Whitesnake singer, David Coverdale, has announced the band will stop off in the UK on their world tour this Winter, confirming shows in London, Newport in South Wales and Wolverhampton.
The band are touring in support of their new studio album 'Forevermore', which was released earlier this year in March. Their 11th studio album, 'Forevermore' was recorded, produced and mixed by Coverdale, guitarist Doug Aldrich and Michael McIntyre at Snakebyte Studios and Grumblenott Studios & Villas in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Formed in 1977, and steered by the legendary Coverdale, Whitesnake carry a rightful reputation as one of the world’s leading rock’n’roll bands. Coverdale’s blues and soul roots, combined with a feral sense of rock and roll, have consistently shaped the ‘Snake’s sound, and add to that Coverdale’s love and appreciation of impeccable musicianship and you have a failsafe recipe for success.
Whitesnake UK Live Dates are as follows:
December 2011
Dec 5th – HMV Forum, London Dec 7th - Newport Centre, Newport Dec 8th - Civic Hall, Wolverhampton
Whitesnake Tickets are onsale from 9am on Friday 26th August.
