Mushroomhead To Tour UK With Hed PE

Industrial metal group Mushroomhead will be coming to the UK this November, along with G-punk pioneers Hed PE.

The pair of American bands will be touching down on British soil this autumn as they play confirmed gigs in Southampton, Manchester, Newcastle and Brighton. More dates are also expected to be announced in the near future for what is billed as the 'Head 2 Hed Tour.'

Mushroomhead are one of the best-selling and most-prolific bands of their genre – they’ve sold almost 1million units worldwide and have seven albums under their belt, as well as 15 music videos, since their 1993 formation. The masked-up metalheads don’t make appearances in the UK often, but, following the release of last year’s ‘Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children’, the band thought it was right to bring their distinct sound to British shores.

Californian punk/hip-hop outfit Hed PE, a.k.a (hed) Planet Earth, have been shaping and defining the G-punk genre since they started out in 1994. They excellently mash together the styles of reggae, rock, hip-hop, punk and heavy metal into a unique and surprisingly well-worked sound that you won’t hear anywhere else. Their latest album effort, ‘Truth Rising’, came out in 2010 and hit #13 in the Top Independent albums chart.

If you want to catch the two bands on tour this autumn, check the dates and details below – and remember, more shows are expected to be announced.

Current Mushroomhead and Hed PE UK tour dates are as follows:

Sat 26th November – Talking Heads, Southampton
Sun 27th November – Moho, Manchester
Mon 28th November – Legends, Newcastle
Thurs 1st December – The Haunt, Brighton
