American alternative rockers Jane’s Addiction have released a music video for their new single ‘Irresistible Force’.
‘Irresistible Force’, their first single for over eight years, is a dark, swirling, moody and epic composition that channels the mystical, shamanic qualities of the band; an interlaced fusion of Stephen Perkins insistent drums, Dave Navarro’s melodic guitar lines and Perry Farrell’s uniquely brilliant vocals.
It follows on from the track ‘End To The Lies’ which was made available as a free download earlier this year. Both tracks feature on the forthcoming and highly-anticipated new studio album ‘The Great Escape Artist’ which will be released October 4th, and features both Dave Sitek (of TV On The Radio) and Chris Chaney on bass.
Jane’s Addiction hit the UK to headline the Radio 1/NME stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals, and will headline a show in London’s Koko tonight! The show sold out within minutes of going on sale and will feature some “fabulous surprises.”
