Adele Apologies To Fans After More Tour Cancellations

Following on from yesterday’s story, Soul singer Adele has apologised to Cardiff and Blackpool-based fans after she was forced to cancel more UK tour shows after coming down with a chest infection.
The ‘Someone Like You’ singer had already postponed gigs in Plymouth and Bournemouth after coming down with the illness, and has now been forced to cancel a further two. She promises to re-schedule all four shows at a later date. Adele made the apology in a statement on her blog.
“I’m still not well enough. I woke up feeling a bit better but not by a lot, but decided to head towards Cardiff anyway in the hope id be able to sing tonight. Half way there I realised it was unrealistic and so have come back home to rest.
“I apologise profusely, I know many of you would have travelled to Cardiff today for the show. I’m so so sorry! I need to wait until the infection has cleared up, there’s no use battling through it because it’ll only make me weaker. I’m still breathless and my chest is disgusting.
“Believe me I’m doing everything I can to get better ASAP I promise. It’s a bug and I have to wait till it’s gone. I’m not doing half hearted performances for anyone. if I try do a show like this it’ll be rubbish and I won’t be coming back this year and I don’t want leave you like that.
“If I postpone ill come back very soon when I’m well and do it how I normally do it! Please forgive me, I hate cancelling things as you know. This has nothing to do with my throat before. I’m sure lots of you feel like this as well, it’s going round. See you very soon Adele xx”
