Ryan Adams Confirms October UK Shows & Details Of New Album

Former guitarist and singer/songwriter for Whiskeytown, Ryan Adams has confirmed three UK shows for October.

Announcing the shows to showcase material from his forthcoming new album 'Ashes & Fire', Ryan Adams is set to release the new album on Monday 10th October. The album was recorded in LA at Sunset Sound in Hollywood and produced by Glyn Johns, renowned for his work with the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Clash, The Who and The Rolling Stones, and whose son Ethan produced previous Ryan Adams albums ‘Heartbreaker,’ ‘Gold’ and ’29.’

‘Ashes & Fire’ also features Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers’ organist Benmont Tench as well as Norah Jones who sings backing vocals on several tracks, including the lilting, acoustic overtures of ‘Come Home,’ the sumptuous ballad ‘Save Me’ and the heartfelt ‘Kindness.’

Having played a handful of acoustic shows in the UK back in June, these new dates will see Ryan Adams showcase his new album as well as the old favorite tracks.

Oct 27th – Union Chapel, Islington, London
Oct 28th – Grand Opera House, York
Oct 30th - Edinburgh Festival Theatre, Edinburgh
